This is really beautiful Kristin! Though not Christian myself, I can see the peace and joy this would bring. Thank you for bringing this into the world and for sharing!
Oh Geneviève, you are always SO incredibly gracious - thank you, thank you for your kind words. I'm so glad that this resonated with you and am always grateful to share in these passions far and wide.
I just read both the posts and now I want to make a book! This is such a lovely idea! I am not sure where to start, though. With the saints and feasts? And where and how do I slip in the recipes and traditions?
I'm so glad this resonates with you! It helps me so much, since I tend to be a magpie and collect *so many* bits and pieces...but they need to be distilled for me to use them. I'd recommend starting with the season we're in right now, since it's fresh - you can use the prompts from this post, or just any particular feasts that you really connect with in summertime!
I just slip the recipes and traditions into whatever feasts they're connected to - whether explicitly connected (hymns for a saint day, etc) or implicitly connected (strawberry shortcake recipe, from any resource, would be great for the feast of St. John the Baptist!)
I'll work on a video so we can all walk through this a bit. There are so many ways to approach it!

I would love a walk-through video or group session, as I am also an overthinker and likely to get bogged down in the organizational minutiae.
Same here, Deborah!! I always tend toward overthinking. I'll get a video set up. :)

A walk through video would be wonderful.
Wonderful! I'll get a video set for the next month or two!
