We are still in the depths of winter here. It looks like next week, the snow and ice will start to thaw and I hope to be able to see our land again, go explore, and see what I can find.
I hope you're seeing glimpses of thawing happening, all in good time! It always amazes me how resilient plants are...after all of our wild flooding, I've begun to see daffodils starting to poke out of the ground a bit (turns out they didn't all wash away!)
Oh my heart, blooming almond trees!! Central California has to be one of the most magical places I've ever been. My parents grew up in SoCal, and all those spring blooms are just so incredible.
I am really too sad that I cannot meet with you all and speak with Sarah face to face for the first time. But, it is 3am my time and I am not sure if I can manage that. Will you please send her my best wishes?
