Our Diocese has long standing ties to Paderborn Cathedral in Germany through our pioneering priest in the goldfields, Dr. Henry Backhaus. The famous medieval window of three hares at Paderborn Cathedral was reproduced at our Mass yesterday for Trinity Sunday. We were reminded to remember faith, love and unity. Winter begins here for us today but I also have some dark purple pansies flowering in a pot, so I join you in your summer celebrations.
Hooray! I have a 3 ring binder where I keep a calendar, notes on the garden, canning and our chickens. I have some of the poems you've printed and most of your pictures interspersed with my notes. I like to put your almanac across from the calendar page I scribble on so I can see what holy days and such are on which days of each month. I will look forward to getting June. Thank you!
Oh my goodness, I'm just so delighted to hear that! What a treat to have some of my little meanderings dotted in between your home and garden notes. :) I sometimes think about making a planner, but honestly, I like being able to move things around - stickers are definitely in the old idea bank, though!
