A Liturgical Ecosystem. I love it! Recently, I have been feeling as if some of the different artists, creators, authors that I follow and support who all happen to be on the other side of the world, did not really 'sit' with my hemisphere and with my experiences. But I enjoy, am inspired, convicted and encouraged by them in an individual way. Your post and these words answered me. Isn't the Holy Spirit amazing in that way?! We share a common liturgical ecosystem and my support allows them to do their part and who knows how we are bringing good to others and the world through our combined efforts. Thank you, my friend, for your wisdom.
I'm so glad that this arrived at the right time for you - I do feel a consistent gnaw when I consider how few resources there are for our southern hemisphere friends in liturgical living. Your generosity in helping to support so many voices, even though there is seasonal dissonance, is a blessing to so many. As I was reading through Sylvie's new Advent book to familiarize myself with it, I thought of you so much - as in her other book, she really focuses on savoring the liturgical expression of our own land.
The Holy Spirit TRULY is always amazing! And I know that for my own part, your testimony and friendship have had profound effects on my own spirituality! I'm so grateful.
Oh bless you, Jody! I'm feeling very much in a 'fits and bursts' mindset and feeling rather behind, so I especially appreciate that. :) Now that summer is over, I feel like the see-saw is returning to a bit more balance again.
