The liturgical year with Haley Stewart
Join us for a live conversation about liturgical living, Haley's cookbook, and more!
“The Church is a family too. And it’s a family with traditions: songs, meals, prayers, and celebrations. These traditions remind us who we are. They help us tell our story, and it’s a very beautiful story: we are loved by God and he made us part of his family.”
Haley Stewart, The Catholic Kids’ Cookbook
Welcome! Whether you’re a longtime friend or a new kindred spirit here (I recommend visiting the Village Green to get your bearings), I’m delighted to be a companion to you through the liturgical year.
Pax+bonum, Kristin.
I’ve followed along with
’s work for years, from podcasts to blogs to books (and an eye toward hopping on one of her retreats someday!) A common thread through all her work has really jumped out to me: she’s a connection-maker, helping to draw people closer to God and closer to each other. All with humor, wit, wisdom, & candid vulnerability. One of the absolute coolest bridges Haley has built is in the form of The Catholic Kids’ Cookbook, helping to connect kids to the Church calendar…and, part & parcel, to the life of Christ.
So, you can imagine how overjoyed this longtime Carrots for Michaelmas fan is to get to hang out with Haley (and all of you!) to talk about liturgical living, Haley’s cookbook, and more!
is an award-winning author, the Editor of Word on Fire Votive, and host of the Votive Podcast. She is a single mom of four and lives in Florida. She sometimes leads pilgrimages and she always needs more bookshelves.

Can’t wait!!
I’m so excited! I’ve also followed Haley’s work for years. I’ve been flipping through the cookbook this week and it’s beautiful. I love the book she edited called Women of the Catholic Imagination.
